This policy explains what personal information Stay Faded Barbershop (“we”) collects when you use this website to book appointments, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Booking details: your name, mobile phone number, email address (optional), the service, barber, date and time, and your payment choice. You can book without an account.
- Account details (if you create an account): name, email, phone, profile photo, your saved matching preferences, and your appointment and review history.
- Payments: if you pay a deposit or in full, your card details are entered into a secure form run by Square. We never see or store your card number; we keep only the amount and a Square payment reference.
- Messages: a record of the confirmation, reminder and other emails/texts we sent you.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the site working.
How we use it
- To schedule and manage your appointment, take payment, and issue refunds.
- To send booking confirmations, changes, reminders and a request to review your visit. Text messages are sent only if you opt in when booking.
- To protect the site against spam and fraud.
- To recommend barbers if you use the match survey.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers, who process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase – database, sign-in and file storage
- Square – card payments and refunds
- Resend – email delivery
- Twilio – text message delivery
- Cloudflare Turnstile – bot protection on the booking form
- Our hosting provider – to serve the website
Your barber can see your name, phone number, the service and what you have paid, so they can serve you. Reviews you leave are shown publicly with only your first name and last initial.
How long we keep it
We remove the name, phone number and email from appointment records two years after the appointment date. Payment records may be kept longer where the law or Square requires it. Account data is kept until you delete your account.
Your choices and rights
- Download your data and delete your account yourself from your profile page when signed in. Deleting cancels upcoming appointments (online payments are refunded), removes your personal details, and keeps past appointment history without your details.
- Cancel or change a booking any time from the link in your confirmation message.
- Stop texts by replying STOP to any message.
- If you booked as a guest, or have another request (access, correction, deletion), contact us at the shop and we will respond promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted by role. Your booking link is private – anyone who has it can view, change or cancel that booking, so don't share it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
The site is intended for adults. Parents or guardians may book appointments for children.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
